cardiff centralWelcome to Cardiff Central Kung Fu. This is where we will update all our current Facebook feeds, news and social events so be sure to check out what’s happening. When you train with us you will meet new people, make new friends and learn valuable skills. We often go out for dinner to traditional Chinese restaurants or participate in fun activities as a group so remember to check the website and follow us on Facebook. All beginners are welcome to come and train with us. More details can be found on our training info page and remember that your second class is free.

 Virtual training

In order to stay fit and healthy, and maintain a strong mind, we would like to encourage you to continue with your training during the lockdown.  To support you in doing so, Sifu and our senior black belts are available to help you review your forms and syllabus work through virtual training sessions.  If you are interested, please contact us through the website, Instagram or Facebook.

Corona Virus Update

IMMEDIATE CLOSURE: COVID-19

Following the Government’s latest advice on reducing non-essential contact and travel we have taken the decision to close our classes until at least Monday 20th April.

Corona Virus Update

The Shaolin Kung Fu system Gao Can Mun Nam Pai Chuan is following Government guidelines set out to slow down the progression of COVID-19 (Corona virus).

As per this advice, there is currently no limitation on gatherings the size of our classes. Therefore, classes are running as usual.

Centre specific websites and centre specific social media should be consulted for any changes in scheduling.

We of course respect the views of anyone who wishes not to attend.

Aberaeron Nam Pai Chuan Grading – 22 September March 2018

The September grading will be held this weekend, Saturday 22 September, in Aberaeron, West Wales at the following venue:

Sir Geraint Evans Leisure Centre, South Road, Aberaeron, SA46 0DT

The grading will start promptly at 11am so if you are grading, you should be there at least half an hour to prepare and warm up.

All are welcome.

Cardiff Nam Pai Chuan Grading – 17 March 2018

The first grading of 2018 will be held on the 17th of March at Talybont Sports Hall (CF14 3UX) starting at 11am.  Students should be there at least half an hour before the grading starts.  There will be a free training session after the grading which is open to all NPC students.

Cardiff Nam Pai Chuan Grading – 10 June 2017

Just as a reminder the grading will start at 11am tomorrow morning but make sure you are there by 10:30am! There will also be a free class afterwards which is open to everyone.

Our social is going to be held at Wahaca on the Saturday evening at 7:30pm. The socials are always great fun as it’s a chance to have a chat rather than getting to know each other whilst in a headlock! Let Lisa know if you would like to book a seat.

 

 

Cardiff Nam Pai Chuan Grading – 11 March 2017

The first grading of 2017 will be held on the 11th of March at Talybont Sports Hall (CF14 3UX) starting at 11am.  Students should be there at least half an hour before the grading starts.  There will be a free training session after the grading which is open to all NPC students.

Grading social – The grading social will be held at TGI Fridays in the St David’s centre at 7.30pm – everyone is welcome to come.

 

Cardiff Kung Fu training centre – changes to class times December 2016

Please note the following changes to training times.

The last kung fu class will take place on Thursday the 22nd of December 2016. Please note that there will be no training between Christmas and the new year as the centre will be closed for the holidays.

The first class of the new year will take place on Monday the 9th of January 2017 in the ‘Upper Hall’ but please note that there will no class on the 12th.

Cardiff NPC Grading – September 2016

Hope everyone is looking forward to the next grading which will be held on the 10th of September. Please note that the grading will NOT be at Talybont Sports Centre. Instead, please go to the Cathays and Community Centre. (36-38 Cathays Terrace, CF24 4HX). The grading will start at 10:30am so please ensure you are there at least 30 minutes beforehand. There will also be a free class after the grading if time permits.
