KIDS KUNG FU CLASS

The kids class runs every Thursday 7-8pm in the new Performance Area. There is now a new session the first Monday of every month 7-8pm for yellow belts and above. Please note these classes run throughout the year including the summer period. This page is dedicated to our Childrens kung fu class called the Kids Club. This will be updated regularly with up and coming news and events. We have listed below some useful information regarding the class.

WHEN DOES THE CLASS TAKE PLACE?

Kids Kung Fu Class is held every Thursday 7pm to 8pm in the Dance Studio.

WHAT AGES?

Children from the ages 5 to 14 are welcome.

HOW DOES MY CHILD BENEFIT?

Kids Kung Fu encompases elements of all true martial arts. Classes will offer a child great exercise as well as offering individuals the chance to learn an essential skill and art taught in a fun environment.

WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT?

Your child will learn how to stretch and warm up before exercise, learn how to keep fit and flexible and offer the chance to learn a new skill and art. Kicking, punching, take downs and skills essential for self defence will be taught as well as the true art of Shaolin Kung fu including the art of learning forms that will help an individual build up a knowledge base in which to work. A child will also learn how to be aware of their surroundings and potential dangers to avoid.

WHO TEACHES THE CLASSES?

The Classes will have two black belt instructors Ryan Pace and Jack Ellis as well an assitant instructor Cleo Bonnet (all CRB certified). The Senior instructor Ryan Pace started learning kung fu when he was just 8 years old in such a class.

WHAT DO THE CHILDREN NEED TO WEAR?

Tracksuit/jogging bottoms with a tee shirt. We train bear foot generally in classes but trainers or martial art shoes can be worn.

HOW MUCH ARE THE CLASSES?

Classes are 4 pounds but your second session is FREE!
